COMMERCIAL TRANSPARENCY

Advertising Disclosure.

MoverDude can earn money from provider introductions, affiliate relationships, sponsorships, and advertising. This page explains how those relationships work and how we separate commercial relationships from useful planning information.

Effective October 12, 2026 Privacy Policy
THE SHORT VERSION

Revenue should never be hidden from you.

We may earn money.

MoverDude may receive compensation from commercial relationships described on this page.

Paid placement should be labeled.

Sponsored or paid visibility should be clearly identified rather than disguised as an independent ranking.

Useful tools stay useful.

Compensation does not turn a planning estimate into a provider quote or a paid company into an automatic recommendation.

01

How MoverDude may make money

MoverDude is designed to provide useful moving information, planning tools, comparisons, and optional connections to third-party services. Operating those services costs money.

MoverDude may earn revenue through one or more commercial relationships, including qualified moving-provider introductions, affiliate or referral commissions, clearly labeled sponsorships, advertisements, paid business products, or other disclosed partnerships.

A potential revenue model is not treated as active merely because it is described here. MoverDude should represent a commercial relationship as active only when an applicable agreement, approval, or program actually exists.

Compensation should be disclosed in a way an ordinary visitor can understand before or near the commercial recommendation, link, or placement when appropriate.
02

Moving-provider introductions

MoverDude may receive compensation from a moving provider for a qualified consumer introduction, accepted lead, subscription, sponsorship, or other commercial arrangement.

Consumer information is not sent to a moving provider merely because a visitor uses a calculator, checklist, inventory, comparison page, or other basic planning tool.

Provider contact begins through a separate provider-request workflow in which the consumer affirmatively requests the connection and supplies the information and permissions required for that request.

Payment by a provider does not guarantee a booking, exclusive status, editorial endorsement, favorable review, “best mover” label, verification outcome, or permanent participation in a MoverDude provider program.

04

Sponsored content and paid placement

A company may pay MoverDude for a clearly identified sponsorship, advertisement, featured placement, geographic sponsorship, promotional content, or other commercial visibility.

Sponsored treatment should be labeled with language such as “Sponsored,” “Paid Placement,” “Advertisement,” or another disclosure appropriate to the context.

Payment for visibility does not erase adverse public information, change government records, guarantee qualification, or convert sponsored content into an independent editorial conclusion.

05

Rankings, comparisons and recommendations

MoverDude should not sell undisclosed ranking positions or create fake “best mover” awards.

Editorial comparisons, educational content, public-record information, or provider research should be based on the methodology described for the applicable feature rather than automatically awarding the highest placement to the company that pays the most.

If compensation materially influences placement, availability, or presentation, the commercial nature of that relationship should be disclosed.

06

Reviews, testimonials and endorsements

MoverDude should not publish fabricated consumer testimonials, knowingly fake reviews, or misleading endorsements.

If a reviewer, creator, partner, provider, employee, or other person has a material relationship that could affect how a reasonable consumer evaluates an endorsement, that relationship should be disclosed when required.

MoverDude does not permit a provider to purchase removal of a legitimate negative complaint or to buy a false positive review.

Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not guarantee that another customer will receive the same result.

07

Prices, offers and availability

Third-party pricing, promotional offers, service areas, availability, product specifications, and commercial terms can change without notice.

MoverDude attempts to present useful information, but a third party's current website, written estimate, contract, or official offer controls the third party's actual pricing and terms.

A MoverDude calculator or planning range is not a binding quote from a moving company or other service provider.

08

Advertising technology, attribution and privacy

Commercial links, advertising systems, analytics, or partner integrations may use cookies, browser storage, referral identifiers, pixels, or similar technologies to measure clicks, conversions, attribution, fraud, or campaign performance.

The use of personal information for advertising, analytics, provider introductions, and similar purposes is also subject to MoverDude's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy choices.

Where applicable law gives a consumer the right to opt out of covered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising processing, available controls are described on Your Privacy Choices.

09

How MoverDude should label commercial relationships

The exact wording depends on the context, but disclosure should be understandable and positioned where visitors are likely to notice it.

Sponsored Sponsored placement

Used when a company pays for identifiable promotional visibility.

Paid Placement Paid positioning

Used where compensation affects the location or visibility of a commercial listing.

MoverDude may earn compensation Affiliate/referral relationship

Used around eligible commercial recommendations or links when appropriate.

A vague label should not be used where it would leave a reasonable visitor unable to understand the commercial relationship.

10

Questions about a commercial relationship

If you have a question about a disclosure, sponsorship, affiliate relationship, provider relationship, advertisement, or other MoverDude commercial arrangement, contact us.

COMMERCIAL PRINCIPLES

What MoverDude will not monetize.

× Permission settings

A consumer's privacy, suppression, or do-not-contact choice should not itself become a product for sale.

× Fake awards

A company should not be able to buy an undisclosed “best mover” designation.

× Complaint removal

Legitimate adverse information should not disappear merely because a provider pays MoverDude.

× Raw personal-data resale

MoverDude should not build a business around selling identifiable move records unrelated to the service the consumer requested.
