USING MOVERDUDE

Terms of Use

These Terms explain the rules that apply when you use MoverDude.com, our planning tools, information, provider-request features, and related services.

Effective: October 12, 2026 Last updated: October 12, 2026
IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Plan with MoverDude. Move with an independent provider.

MoverDude is not the mover.

We do not operate the truck or physically transport your household goods.

Estimates are planning tools.

Calculator results are not binding moving-company quotes or guarantees.

Providers remain independent.

Your service contract and transportation obligations are between you and the provider you choose.

01

Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MoverDude.com and MoverDude-operated planning tools, forms, comparison resources, provider-request features, content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Additional terms or disclosures may apply to a particular feature, promotion, provider program, business relationship, or communication channel. Where additional terms conflict with these Terms for that specific feature, the more specific terms control to the extent of the conflict.

02

What MoverDude is — and is not

MoverDude is an independent moving-information and provider-connection platform. MoverDude provides planning information, calculators, checklists, comparison tools, educational resources, and permission-based opportunities to request contact from independent moving providers.

MoverDude is not the moving company that transports your household goods. MoverDude does not itself operate the moving truck, provide a moving crew, take possession of your shipment, or assume responsibility for transporting your belongings.

A provider introduction does not make a provider an employee, agent, partner, joint venturer, or representative of MoverDude, and it does not make MoverDude the provider's employee, agent, or representative.

Under MoverDude's current consumer planning and provider-introduction model, MoverDude does not accept deposits or transportation payments for the household-goods move, issue a bill of lading, or guarantee pickup, delivery, or transportation performance.

Your agreement for actual moving or transportation services is with the independent provider you choose, not with MoverDude.
03

Eligibility

The Services are intended for adults who can legally enter into agreements and for authorized representatives of businesses. By using a feature that requires you to enter into an agreement or provide business information, you represent that you have the legal capacity and authority to do so.

The Services are not directed to children under 13.

04

Planning tools, calculators and estimates

MoverDude calculators, planning ranges, box estimates, timelines, checklists, inventory tools, method comparisons, and similar outputs are provided for planning and informational purposes.

Results depend on the information you provide, model assumptions, available data, market conditions, route characteristics, provider practices, seasonality, inventory, access conditions, labor, fuel, timing, and other factors that may change.

A MoverDude planning estimate is not a binding quote from a mover. Only the applicable moving provider can provide the provider's actual estimate, terms, pricing, availability, valuation coverage, cancellation terms, and final transportation documents.

You should independently review any provider estimate, order for service, bill of lading, valuation selection, insurance information, cancellation policy, and other service documents before agreeing to a move.

05

Provider requests and introductions

Basic planning does not automatically request provider contact. A provider introduction begins only when you take the affirmative action provided by the applicable request workflow.

When submitting a provider request, you agree that the information identified in that workflow may be used and disclosed for the purpose stated in the request, subject to the contact channels and permissions you select.

Submission of a provider request does not guarantee that a provider will accept the request, contact you, be available, provide a quote, offer a particular price, or enter into a service agreement.

MoverDude may limit, suspend, decline, or change provider-request availability based on geography, provider capacity, quality controls, legal requirements, or operational conditions.

06

Independent moving providers

Moving providers and other service businesses appearing on or connected through MoverDude are independent third parties. Providers control their own operations, employees, equipment, estimates, prices, schedules, service terms, insurance, valuation coverage, performance, cancellations, and contractual obligations.

Provider information may come from public records, provider submissions, websites, or other sources. A verification or public-record check reflects information observed at a particular time and is not a government endorsement or a guarantee of future status, quality, availability, or performance.

You remain responsible for reviewing the provider's legal identity, applicable authority or registration, insurance or valuation information, written estimate, complaint information, service terms, and other facts important to your decision.

For interstate household-goods moves, consumers should review applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration resources and confirm whether the company they are dealing with is a mover or broker and whether required federal registration is active.

07

Information you provide

You agree to provide information that is reasonably accurate and not intentionally misleading when using MoverDude tools, forms, provider requests, business applications, or other interactive features.

You are responsible for reviewing your information before submitting it and for updating material facts when a change could affect a planning result or provider request.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant MoverDude a limited right to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the feature you requested, maintain records, improve the Services, comply with law, and exercise rights under these Terms.

Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, payment-card numbers, government identification documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information through general planning or contact fields.

08

Email, telephone and text communications

When you provide an email address for a requested feature, contact inquiry, provider request, or similar transaction, MoverDude may send communications reasonably related to that request.

Promotional or lifecycle marketing email is a separate purpose and may include an unsubscribe method as required by applicable law. Unsubscribing from promotional email does not necessarily prevent transactional or service-related messages necessary to fulfill a request you made.

Permission for calls or text messages is handled separately where offered. Providing a telephone number for one purpose does not automatically authorize every type of call, automated call, prerecorded message, or marketing text.

If you grant a communication permission and later revoke it, you agree to provide enough information for MoverDude to identify the permission or request involved.

09

Advertising, affiliate links and compensation

MoverDude may receive compensation from moving providers, advertisers, partners, or other businesses when you request an introduction, interact with certain links, purchase or request a third-party service, or through other commercial arrangements.

Paid placement or sponsored treatment should be identified where applicable. Compensation may affect which commercial opportunities are displayed or available, but it does not convert a provider's self-reported information into independently verified fact.

Review the Advertising Disclosure for additional information about commercial relationships.

10

Third-party websites and services

MoverDude may link to or integrate with third-party websites, government resources, providers, advertisers, payment services, maps, analytics services, or other products and services.

MoverDude does not control third-party terms, privacy practices, content, availability, security, or performance merely because a link or integration appears on the site.

Your use of a third-party service is subject to the third party's own agreements and policies.

11

MoverDude intellectual property

The MoverDude name, branding, site design, original written content, software, calculators, interfaces, graphics, workflows, and other materials created by or for MoverDude may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, or other intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, MoverDude grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the consumer-facing Services for lawful personal or internal business purposes.

No right is granted to copy, resell, reproduce at scale, republish, reverse engineer, scrape, frame, or create a competing database or service from protected MoverDude content except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law or MoverDude gives written permission.

12

Prohibited uses

You may not use the Services to violate law; impersonate another person or business; submit fraudulent provider requests; transmit malware or harmful code; probe or interfere with site security; bypass access controls or rate limits; harvest personal information; send spam or unauthorized marketing; misuse another person's contact information; automate abusive requests; disrupt site operation; or use MoverDude content or infrastructure in a manner that infringes the rights of MoverDude or others.

You also may not use MoverDude to create false reviews, fabricated provider information, deceptive consumer leads, or misleading claims regarding a provider's relationship with MoverDude.

13

Service availability and changes

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature, provider program, geographic pilot, calculator model, page, integration, or other part of the Services.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, available in every location, compatible with every device, or continuously available.

We may perform maintenance, correct errors, block abusive activity, and restrict functionality where reasonably necessary for security, legal, operational, or quality reasons.

14

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. MoverDude does not warrant that every planning estimate, provider record, price range, availability statement, public record, or third-party fact will always be complete, current, or error-free.

MoverDude content is general moving-planning information and is not legal, tax, financial, insurance, engineering, real-estate, or other professional advice. Where your situation requires professional advice, obtain it from an appropriately qualified professional.

MoverDude does not guarantee any provider's workmanship, timeliness, conduct, pricing, licensing or registration status, insurance, valuation coverage, equipment, employees, availability, or performance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer protection that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

15

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoverDude and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or business interruption arising from or related to use of the Services or dealings with an independent provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoverDude's aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the consumer Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to MoverDude for the specific consumer Service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability or $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

16

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold MoverDude and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, material violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or information you knowingly submit in a fraudulent or unauthorized manner.

This section does not require a consumer to indemnify MoverDude where applicable law prohibits such an obligation.

17

Disputes involving a moving provider

Because providers are independent businesses, disputes regarding moving services, estimates, deposits paid directly to a provider, property damage, loss, delays, cancellations, valuation coverage, refunds, charges, or transportation performance ordinarily must be addressed with the provider and through applicable regulatory, insurance, arbitration, court, or consumer-protection processes.

MoverDude may accept a report about a provider, preserve relevant records, review participation in a provider program, or point users to official resources, but MoverDude does not promise to adjudicate the underlying dispute or recover money or property on a consumer's behalf.

18

Applicable law and mandatory rights

You and MoverDude are each responsible for complying with laws that apply to your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive a consumer right, statutory remedy, or protection that applicable law does not permit to be waived.

Moving laws and regulatory requirements can differ depending on whether a move is intrastate or interstate, the location of the move, and the role of the businesses involved. Users and providers remain responsible for understanding requirements applicable to their particular transaction.

19

Changes to these Terms

MoverDude may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, technology, business model, law, or operating practices. When changes are made, the “Last updated” date above will be revised.

Where applicable law requires additional notice or affirmative agreement to a material change, MoverDude will provide the required process rather than relying solely on passive continued browsing.

20

General terms

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, applicable consent language, and any feature-specific terms presented to you, constitute the applicable agreement concerning your use of the relevant MoverDude consumer Services.

You may not assign your obligations under these Terms in a way that materially affects MoverDude without permission. MoverDude may assign its rights and obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
